Žaliakalnis still breathes the modernism of the new rising European capital Kaunas in the midst of the two World Wars. After the devastation of the occupation and chaotic developments of the early 1990’s this unique historical landscape is regenerating with new modern high quality design villas all around.

The complex design task requires to create a clinic on the ground floor with two independent apartments on the upper floors. The routes of clients and doctors should not interfere while residents should have their separate entrance. All the program should fit on a limited footprint of 120 m2, solve all the parking on the plot and regard all the constraining heritage restrictions.

First floor plan. A spacious 3 room apartment of 87 m2 with 2 bedrooms and a large living area of 32 m2.

Second floor plan. A spacious 2 room apartment with large bedroom, bathroom and lofty living space of 43 m2.
